Resident Engineer

As we continue to expand our cloud and enterprise business globally, we are looking for a high-impact AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with EMEA-based customers, primarily from Germany.

What You’ll Do:

• Consult customers with best practices as a "Trusted Advisor".
• Identify trends in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams to deliver customer impact.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with networking devices (switches, routers, etc.).
• Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Experience working with cloud platforms and managing cloud security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
• Experience dealing with global customers.
• Customer-oriented and ability to establish customer trust.
• Problem solver, result-driven, demonstrating a "make it happen" attitude, attention to detail.
• Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
• Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice To Have:

• Linux scripting: Perl/Python/shell.
• Knowledge of APIs (Java, REST).
• Virtual routing and software-defined networking.
