Manufacturing Operator

Join our dynamic team at Alleima Special Metals, part of the global Alleima Group, where innovation meets precision manufacturing. Within our Specialized Business Unit, we produce high-performance titanium tube products for demanding industries such as Aerospace and Medical.

We are seeking dependable individuals with a strong work ethic to join our Production Team as a Manufacturing Operator at our Kennewick facility. Working within a unionized manufacturing environment, successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn. No prior manufacturing experience is required but is preferred.

Your Role

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be trained to set up and operate machinery and material handling equipment used throughout our manufacturing process while contributing to a safe and efficient operation within a union environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Promote and support a strong safety culture in all activities and interactions.

  • Perform manufacturing and production operations, including machine operation, processing, assembly, and packaging in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.

  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

  • Use measuring instruments, hand tools, and production equipment, including calipers and grinders.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

About You

You are a dependable, safety-minded individual with a positive attitude. You take pride in your work, demonstrate reliability, and are committed to working safely while contributing to the success of the team.

The ideal candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and demonstrate:

  • A strong work ethic and commitment to attendance and dependability with good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong English-language proficiency is required, including the ability to understand, read, write, and speak English effectively.

  • The ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels, temperatures, and production conditions.

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

  • The ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, squat, and perform repetitive physical movements required to perform essential job functions.

  • The ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull materials, parts, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as an essential function of the position.

  • Must be flexible and available to work the Day, Swing, and Night shifts as required to support a 24-hour manufacturing operation.

What you can expect from us

  • The hourly rate for this position starts at $23.66 with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance beginning on day 31.

  • A 401 (K) retirement savings plan begins on day 31 and provides a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you contribute, all immediately vested.

  • Eligible employees receive two weeks of vacation after one year of service, with 80 hours of Personal Time accrued annually. Personal Time is prorated during the first year of employment.

  • Eleven paid holidays each year.

  • Shift differential pay for Swing and Night Shifts.

  • We will provide on-the-job training necessary for success in this role, and we offer a generous Tuition Reimbursement Program.

Due to applicable export control regulations, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. Person, which generally includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and certain other individuals authorized under U.S. export control laws to access ITAR-regulated information and facilities. Applicants must also be able to work for any employer in the United States without current or future sponsorship for employment visa status.
