Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Driver Entry in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and conduct routine patrols. Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries; report access concerns or unauthorized entry attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services or supervisory personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, public areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or 2 years armed security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
