Job Description

As a Security Guard Retail - Experience Required in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and completely in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
