Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
