As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across dynamic retail and cultural locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail, public gathering, and cultural spaces, including building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, crowd management, and event-related activities while maintaining detailed and accurate activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
