Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Response Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or transit personnel when appropriate.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
