Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Protection in Tolleson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow around shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while following site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
