ABOUT THE ROLE
Relevant tasks, projects, and achievements expected for this position:
- Actively conduct lead generation activities to maximise market exposure and identify opportunities, whilst ensuring appropriate follow-up and qualification of prospects/leads.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns within the target assigned accounts.
- Generate suggested target marketing lists for discussion and agreement with sales prior to any Direct Marketing Communications and Sales activities and events.
- Employ Innovative techniques and strategies in marketing Alpega’s products to secure new accounts.
- Participate in the first portion of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts.
- Collect & analyse potential customers’ financial information, critical business processes and/or system needs.
- Identify and qualify their project needs, budget, timelines, business issues and obstacles for hand off to the Sales Executive.
- Overcome objections and effectively communicate Alpega’s value propositions to key decision makers regarding appropriate Alpega product offerings. Engage appropriate Alpega resources as needed.
- Participate in the opportunity reviews and reach out and collaborate with the appropriate Sales Executives in the assigned regions.
- Achieve quarterly Lead generation goals set by sales management.
- Track all relevant activity in Salesforce (including call activity, lead qualification details, lead pipeline, opportunity pipeline, etc.).
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
- Experience selling SaaS products.
- Professional, ambitious, determined, persistent, and results-oriented mindset.
- 3 years of successful sales or lead development experience.
- Business-fluent Italian (C1/C2), spoken and written, is required.
- Good command of English (C1)
- Any other European Language is a plus
- Understand the software/IT industry and transportation and Logistics requirements (ideal but not mandatory)
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in active listening, and effective telephone skills.
- Demonstrated sales aptitude with relentlessly high standards and the desire to pursue a sales career.
- Skilled and comfortable at reaching business-to-business decision makers and sourcing new business leads via both warm leads and cold calling.
- Able to communicate with senior business leaders to build relationships.
- Able to qualify, prioritise and objectively review sales leads to generate maximum effectiveness and return on time invested.
