This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of high-impact infrastructure projects with long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to ensure successful execution.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, contract administration, and project documentation.
  • Lead project meetings while maintaining clear communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, consultants, and internal leadership.
  • Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize schedule delays and budget impacts.
  • Support field operations by ensuring crews have the equipment, materials, and resources needed to maintain production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Oversee commissioning support, punch-list completion, project turnover, and final closeout documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil or mechanical construction.
  • Experience working for a heavy civil general contractor or mechanical contractor is required.
  • Proven experience managing projects from startup through closeout.
  • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, utility infrastructure, industrial facilities, or similar heavy civil projects is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of heavy civil construction methods, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, and field operations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost control, billing, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating office and field teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must reside within approximately one hour of Nashville, Tennessee.
  • Candidates whose experience is primarily residential or light commercial construction will not be considered.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $90,000-$120,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Company truck or $1,000/month vehicle allowance.
  • Company fuel card.
  • Health insurance available immediately upon hire.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Stable pipeline of heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects.
  • High level of project ownership and leadership responsibility.
  • Collaborative team environment with long-term career growth opportunities.
