Courier Driver - Zero Hours - Coventry
We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable individual to work as a van driver based from our Coventry site who is responsible, punctual and able to multitask while working in a team-oriented environment. Candidates must have a clean driving record and an up-to-date driver's license.
Contract: Zero Hours
Annual Salary: £13.45 per hour

You will be driving a medium wheeled van which you will collect and drop off at beginning and end of shift.
The Day to Day
Driving in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users and being a great embassador to our brand and values.
Due to the nature of this work you will need to ensure the temperature control of the vehicles fridge is maintained at all times.
Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with clients and staff at ALS sites.
Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays.
Accurate completion of paperwork, recording van temperatures and sample consignments.
Daily checks, basic maintenance such as fluid top up and cleaning of the vehicle to be carried out
Informing the Transport Manager of of any client issues or other pertinent Information
The Essentials
Good adherence to the rules of the road and demonstrate excellent driver behaviour standards.
Previous experience driving medium wheel base vans.
Have a good working knowledge of UK road networks.
Have excellent communication skills
Be flexible and reliable
Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic & friendly disposition
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to act upon information given and use initiative
Be able to provide your own navigation however we can provide if you do not have this.
