More Than a Job: A Mission

We are looking for a FEA Engineer to join our engineering team in Chorzów. In this role, you will use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural calculations to support the design and validation of railway products, turning analysis results into practical engineering solutions.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and internal and external customers, ensuring that technical solutions meet project, quality and delivery requirements.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Drive FEA and structural calculation activities throughout the project, from planning and analysis to validation and delivery of technical documentation.
  • Apply relevant calculation methodologies, engineering processes and simulation tools to deliver reliable analyses that meet project and customer requirements.
  • Translate analysis results into engineering recommendations, proposing design improvements, reinforcements or simplifications of calculated parts.
  • Prepare FEA validation plans and calculation reviews, document results and follow up on key technical actions in line with project schedules.
  • Monitor and report progress, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers, and proactively flag risks that could impact Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) commitments.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in railway or a comparable engineering environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural calculations and mechanical simulation; experience with tools such as ANSYS, HyperMesh or NASTRAN is an advantage.
  • A structured, analytical and hands-on approach, combined with good planning, prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and internal or external customers, challenge solutions and raise technical concerns when needed.
  • Good English, both written and spoken, enabling you to prepare technical documentation and participate effectively in engineering meetings.

How Success Is Measured

  • High-quality FEA and structural calculation deliverables completed in line with project milestones.
  • Effective validation planning, calculation reviews and timely closure of technical actions.
  • Practical design improvements resulting from structural analysis.
  • Proactive identification and escalation of technical or project risks.
  • Effective cooperation with engineering teams and internal and external customers.
