Your Role, Your Impact
- Perform 3D modeling, technical documents, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments and established processes
- Model equipment in alignment to allocated volumes and interfaces for Traction products
- Conduct detailed design on internal subsystems
- Prepare and document Design Reviews and support Project Design Gates
- Check the quality of detailed design documentation, drawings, and subcontractors' designs
- Realize and maintain the Engineering Bill of Material
- Plan and lead Mechanical Traction activities for assigned zones, ensuring deliverables adhere to customer and project requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation-related mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software, such as AutoCAD, or Catia V5
- Familiarity with MS Office tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with third parties (e.g., customers, sub-contractors)
- Resilience and adaptability to work in a dynamic engineering environment
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Structured and organized with a hands-on approach
- Ability to analyze and implement change requests
- Experience and willingness to work with global teams, levering expert-level support at other traction design sites
