Location: Mountain View, CA

Our client is the first non-military unmanned aircraft company to receive FAA Type Certification (2022) and operate under an FAA Production Certificate. We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join our team to test custom PCBs and electrical systems with a focus on bench-level testing, field testing, test design, and test automation for a drone delivery system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute bench-level tests for custom PCBs and assemblies
• Design test procedures, fixtures, and test benches
• Develop test automation and data collection
• Support field testing of integrated aircraft and ground systems
• Debug failures, perform root-cause analysis, and document results
• Feed test findings back to design engineers

Required Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of electrical test engineering experience
• PCB-level test and debug experience
• Lab equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, logic analyzers
• Test procedure development and documentation
• Familiarity with the aerospace regulatory environment (FAA airworthiness requirements) and related environmental test standards (e.g., RTCA DO-160)

Preferred Qualifications

• Test automation (e.g., Python, LabVIEW)
• Test fixture design
• UAV or aerospace hardware background
• Field test experience

Salary Range

• $120,000 - 140,000
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
