Altis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Intermediate Desktop Support Analyst to join a leading professional services organization in downtown Toronto. Your Responsibilities
You'll provide hands-on technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and enterprise applications.
You'll troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity and operating system issues across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android environments.
You'll manage incidents, service requests and escalations while meeting established SLAs and maintaining excellent customer service.
You'll support infrastructure deployments, system upgrades, vulnerability remediation and technology asset management.
You'll assist employees with Microsoft Office productivity tools, audiovisual equipment, video conferencing and automation applications.
You'll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and improve support processes.
You'll contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives while participating in occasional after-hours support.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of technical support experience in a large corporate or enterprise environment, preferably within professional services.
Minimum two years of formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent field.
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS and Android operating systems, laptops, printers and networked applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with ITIL practices, incident management, service requests, asset management and meeting SLA/KPI targets.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience with data analytics, automation tools and audiovisual or video conferencing equipment is considered an asset.
