[GLB/CNTXT] Senior GCP DevOps Engineer (Enterprise Solutions)

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to join key initiatives delivered for one of the world's largest players in the energy sector. This role involves developing modern DevOps practices within the Google Cloud Platform environment, as well as participating in large-scale transformation and modernization of complex enterprise systems.

Work location: on-site at the client's office in Dammam (Saudi Arabia)

Responsibilities

• Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or cloud solution design for enterprise environments.
• Have hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Have strong knowledge of Terraform and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Have experience designing and maintaining CI/CD processes using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Have strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, especially Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Understand cloud security concepts and networking principles within Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
• Hold an active Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification.
• Are ready to relocate to Saudi Arabia and work fully on-site in Dammam.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and develop DevOps solutions based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain automated infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Design and maintain advanced Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Implement container-based solutions using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, and Artifact Registry.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Software Engineering teams on cloud transformation projects.
• Participate in migrations and modernization of large-scale enterprise environments to Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and develop monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for production environments.
