About the Role

Join Alvys, an early-stage company transforming the $800B US freight industry. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll build and operate key parts of our cloud-native SaaS platform-spanning backend services, frontend applications, and cross-cutting system components. You will own features end-to-end, partner closely with engineering, product, and design, and help advance both the technical foundations and user experience of our products.

Tech Stack

• Backend: .NET/C#, CosmosDB, Cognitive Search, Azure Services
• Frontend: TypeScript, Angular, React, Dart/Flutter
• Infrastructure & Ops: Azure, Azure Monitor, App Insights, CI/CD through DevOps / GitHub Actions pipelines
• Integrations: Multiple third-party APIs and workflow systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in  English -spoken and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience across both frontend and backend development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (C#, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript/Node).
• Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases in production environments.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale, high-traffic systems.
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers.
• Experience with C#/.NET or Angular is a plus.
• Experience developing responsive, data-rich interfaces.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps.
• Background in logistics or transportation is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build, own, and operate full-stack features from design through deployment.
• Develop robust backend services and intuitive, high-quality UIs for web and native applications.
• Work closely with design and product to deliver consistent, user-centric experiences.
• Improve engineering patterns, reliability, performance, and developer experience across the stack.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to peers across frontend and backend disciplines.
• Advocate for engineering excellence, maintainability, and scalability in all areas of the product.
