Role
We are seeking a passionate, energetic and service-oriented Learning & Development Coordinator to join Janu Tokyo. At Janu, we believe in the power of genuine human connection. As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will work alongside talented professionals who share a passion for excellence, collaboration, and heartfelt hospitality. Through your work, you will help create moments of joy, foster meaningful connections and deliver the distinctive spirit that defines Janu. Responsibilities
- Prioritise tasks and prepare the annual training plan, coordinating the implementation of mandatory training and departmental training programmes.
- Organise training requests and changes, prepare training materials and service standards, and develop learning programmes tailored to different roles.
- Communicate necessary information to relevant stakeholders, compile training attendance and evaluation results, and improve training content and delivery methods.
- Prepare training equipment and materials, share development needs with departmental leaders, and support the development of individual growth plans.
- Record training activities and ensure smooth handovers, manage training records and certification status, and promote colleague development and service quality. *Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience in human resource development or training programme planning.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher, equivalent to JLPT N1).
- Business conversational level English proficiency (CEFR B1 or higher, equivalent to TOEIC 550 or above or IELTS 4.0 or above). *Candidates with exceptional experience or skills may be considered even if they do not meet every point.
