Set above the celebrated golden sands of Playa Grande, the resort offers unparalleled access to water sports and back-to-nature experiences, infused with the spice and flavour of Dominican life.

Role

We are looking for a Learning and Development and Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the design and delivery of learning programmes that strengthen service excellence across the resort. You will help colleagues grow, enhance operational quality, and reinforce our culture and values. You will play an important part in ensuring that every guest experience reflects our commitment to exceptional service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and delivery of learning and development programmes that meet operational needs

  • Maintain annual training plans and collaborate with leaders to ensure programmes are delivered effectively

  • Assist with quality assurance processes, including audits and performance reviews, to identify training needs

  • Provide onboarding, coaching, and development support for colleagues and new leaders

  • Deliver core learning programmes, including orientation, service skills, and supervisory development

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with mandatory learning requirements

  • Coordinate cross-training, language training, and internship programmes with internal and external partners

  • Support corporate learning initiatives and guide participants through development programmes

  • Manage the learning and development budget and identify cost-effective training solutions

  • From time to time assist with recruitment effort including but not limited to coordination of interviews, background checks, job postings, among other recruitment tasks.

  • Assist in other related HR tasks delegated.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in learning and development within a luxury service environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, with additional languages an advantage

  • Strong knowledge of modern learning tools, technology, and learning management systems

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
