We are looking for a strategic Risk Management Function Head to strengthen the Bank's enterprise-wide risk management framework and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, business strategy, and the Bank's risk appetite. This role will lead risk governance across key risk areas, provide independent risk oversight for new products and business initiatives, monitor the Bank's overall risk profile, and drive effective mitigation strategies. You will also play a key role in regulatory reporting, OJK examinations, stress testing, ICAAP/ILAAP, Recovery Plan, and audit remediation, while partnering with senior stakeholders to foster a strong, proactive risk culture across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, develop, and evaluate integrated risk management policies, methodologies, procedures, limits, and tools aligned with the Bank's risk profile and business strategies.
Ensure the execution of risk identification, measurement, monitoring, control, and reporting processes across all risk categories faced by the Bank, including credit, market, liquidity, operational, legal, compliance, strategic, reputational, technology & other risk.
Promote a risk-aware culture and strengthen risk governance across all operational units in alignment with prudential principles and industry best practices.
Monitor the Bank's risk profile and compliance with established risk limits, risk appetite, and risk tolerance, providing mitigation recommendations for potential exposure increases.
Conduct independent reviews of new products, activities, transactions, systems, and business initiatives to ensure associated risks are adequately managed prior to implementation.
Prepare and review the Risk Management Policy and other internal policies related to Risk Management.
Oversee the formulation and review of internal Management Action Trigger (MAT) limits linked to portfolio exposure for submission to the Risk Management Committee (KMR).
Responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including Bank Soundness Rating (TKB) Report, Risk Profile Report, Minimum Capital Adequacy Requirement (KPMM) Report based on ICAAP, Recovery Plan Report (RAP), Funding Profile Calculation under ILAAP, and Anti-Fraud Strategy Implementation Report.
Actively participate in the annual OJK General Examination process, and manage findings from internal, external, and OJK audits related to the Risk Management Function.
Serve as the secretariat and coordinate meetings for the Risk Management Committee (KMR), facilitate cross-unit coordination meetings, and hold joint sessions between the Risk Management Function and the Risk Oversight Committee (KPR).
Formulate and refine stress testing methodologies to evaluate the Bank's capital resilience against macroeconomic shifts, geopolitical factors, and other relevant stress scenarios.
Execute additional risk control and governance duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in bank risk management, regulatory reporting, or risk governance within the banking sector.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills in both Indonesian and English.
Proven leadership and committee management skills, with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and lead committee secretariats.
High ethical standards, objectivity, and commitment to maintaining a robust risk culture and governance standard.
