Accounting Manager - Accounts Payable

Job Description:

• Review, code, and post incoming invoices in DATEV
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data
• Allocate invoices to the appropriate cost centers and departments
• Post bank and credit card transactions
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile intercompany charges and balances with the entities involved
• Process intercompany transactions
• Support accounts payable activities during the financial close
• Perform account reconciliations and receivables close activities
• Prepare accruals and deferrals
• Optimize finance processes and digital tools

Requirements:

• Completed training as a tax clerk (all genders) or a comparable qualification in accounting
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable
• Confident, day-to-day use of DATEV or comparable accounting software
• Good understanding of basic tax principles
• Experience working in multi-company environments
• Enthusiasm for digital tools and a strong affinity for IT
• Structured and methodical approach to work
• German language skills at C1 level
• Good English skills, at least B2 level
