Build the IT infrastructure that powers millions of deliveries. As a Deployment Support Engineer, you'll independently lead multi-site launches, create scalable mechanisms adopted across regions, and own end-to-end delivery from design to handover.

Own IT infrastructure deployment for new site launches and lifecycle upgrades across the region.

Create scalable mechanisms (runbooks, automation, templates) that simplify deployments for the entire network.

Manage vendors and cross-functional stakeholders against tight launch timelines.

Troubleshoot complex issues spanning networking, compute, and operational technology.

Mentor engineers while driving operational excellence.

SOPなしでIT問題を解決、根本原因特定・エスカレーション。

プロジェクトドキュメント（進捗・完成図書・レッスンラーンド）管理。

スクリプトで自動化構築、手作業削減・一貫性向上。

後輩エンジニア育成、昇格フィードバック提供。

Deliver IT infrastructure for site launches, retrofits, and lifecycle upgrades across regional locations.

Install, configure, and validate network equipment, workstations, and OT on-site.

Create scalable deployment mechanisms (runbooks, automation, templates) adoptable across regions.

Manage vendors ensuring quality, schedule, and safety compliance.

Coordinate with Operations, Construction, Facilities, and partner IT teams.

Troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs; identify root causes and resolve or escalate.

Own project documentation: progress reports, as-builts, lessons learned.

Build automation using scripting to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.

Mentor junior engineers; provide peer feedback for promotions.

A day in the life

A typical day on-site: coordinating vendors, commissioning equipment, validating cabling, and resolving technical blockers. Mornings start with standups alongside Construction and Operations. Afternoons involve updating trackers, mentoring engineers, and documenting lessons learned. On office days, you plan upcoming deployments, build scalable mechanisms, and align with regional peers remotely. Stakeholders: Operations, Construction, Facilities, Field IT. Customers: site teams needing reliable IT from Day 1.

About the team

Team delivers IT infrastructure for Amazon's fulfilment network - site launches, lifecycle upgrades, and retrofits. We partner with construction, facilities, and field IT at the intersection of technology and operations. Our culture values ownership, bias for action, and mechanism-building: we create scalable processes that make every deployment faster. Some days are on-site; others in-office planning with regional peers.

Basic qualifications

- 4+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience

- 3+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience

- 4+ years of technical support experience

- 4+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience

- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent

- Experience working with and managing third party vendors, or experience in similar environments

- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (JLPT N3+)

Preferred qualifications

- 3+ years of supporting a windows server environment experience

- Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions, or experience with project management
