We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on this new service that addresses customer needs to build modern contact centers in the cloud. As a Front End Engineer on our team you'll own code end-to-end from design to development and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. You'll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience working across the stack with technology involving modern web applications, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data and more.

Key job responsibilities

• As a Front End Engineer on our team you'll own code end-to-end from design to development and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. Basic qualifications

- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

Preferred qualifications

- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience

- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
