Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

Our diverse team of engineers come from all over the world to design, test and build our dynamic fleet of robots and mechatronic systems. Having our offices, labs, test floors and factories all co-located means that we can design the hardware, write the code, test, build and watch it all come to life. This allows us to innovate quickly and on limitless ideas. Current advancements are underway in robotic movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive data, and much more.

The Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations (RMTO) organization builds and scales the production systems that bring Amazon's robotic fleet to life. The Process Engineer will be responsible for the development, installation, validation, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes and systems used to produce robotics. This role collaborates cross-functionally within Operations and cross-geographically to define process requirements, procure and validate equipment, and drive optimization and cost-reduction initiatives. The Process Engineer will be expected to clearly communicate project status, risks, and change control to senior management.

- Drive process optimization and cost reduction initiatives across scaling production lines.

- Author business cases and operational planning documents for capital equipment and plant infrastructure investments.

- Develop and implement technology and tooling improvements that deliver measurable impact to Safety, Quality, and Cost targets.
