Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

Customers purchasing high-consideration products such as laptops, televisions, cameras, and mobile devices often need complementary products and services to complete their shopping mission. Finding the right accessories and services can require additional research across multiple Amazon experiences.

The High-Consideration Basket Building team is looking for a Product Manager to improve and expand how customers discover complementary products and services across Hardlines. You will own a defined set of customer experiences within the Basket Building portfolio, including attach recommendations and post-add-to-cart experiences.

This role is suited to a product manager who enjoys solving customer problems, using data to identify opportunities, and working across teams to bring ideas to life. You will partner with Engineering, Science, UX, Personalization, Search, Detail Page, Cart, PurchaseX, BuyX, Ads, Vendor Management, Category, Marketing, and BI teams.

You will translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, prioritize features, coordinate launches, and measure results. You will also help expand successful experiences across categories, marketplaces, and customer surfaces while protecting recommendation relevance, customer trust, and financial performance.

Key job responsibilities

- Own the roadmap for defined High-Consideration Basket Building experiences across Hardlines.

- Identify customer needs and product opportunities using research, business performance, and partner feedback.

- Partner with Engineering, Science, UX, and business teams throughout product development and delivery.

- Manage the product lifecycle from requirements and experimentation through launch, measurement, and iteration.

- Develop business cases and recommendations for new features, category launches, and customer-surface expansion.

- Define launch criteria, success measures, and customer-experience guardrails.

- Track outcomes such as completed shopping missions, complementary-product attach, contribution profit, recommendation relevance, anchor conversion, and returns.

- Coordinate dependencies and resolve delivery barriers across partner teams.

- Use experiment results, customer feedback, and performance data to improve existing experiences and inform the roadmap.

- Identify opportunities to simplify product setup, launch processes, and the customer experience.

- Communicate product plans, performance, risks, and decisions through written updates and business and technical reviews.
