Sr. Program Manager: Emerging Programs, ILS Delivery and Execution

Do you thrive on transforming complex operational challenges into streamlined automated solutions? The ILS Delivery & Execution (D&E) organization is seeking a technical leader to deliver on some of our most critical and strategic initiatives, supporting our growing fleet. You'll spearhead initiatives to improve the condition of Amazon's branded fleet across North America, and be on the forefront of emerging programs within the ILS org to build the execution framework of the future. Working along-side ILS Strategy teams, and across GFP field and program teams, you'll leverage your expertise to align stakeholder (internal an external) to deliver scalable solutions that impact millions of customers worldwide.
This role offers a unique opportunity to understand end-to-end functions of ILS and while serving as a technical expert and critical leader for emerging initiatives. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design robust forecasting models, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for large-scale automation initiatives that eliminate redundant tasks and improve operational efficiency across D&E functions
- Create E2E execution requirements and for emerging programs to ensure operational feasibility, collaborating with strategy and field teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead cross-functional alignment between Strategy teams, Field/Operations teams, and Vendors to identify optimization opportunities and implement data-driven solutions
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies across complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving resolution of technical and operational blockers
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, dive deep into operational challenges, and offer simple and effective solutions. You might start by reviewing automation metrics from recent deployments, then transition to a design session with engineers on new forecasting algorithms, followed by stakeholder meetings to align on program priorities and remove blockers.

This role exists within the D&E (execution) organization, part of the In-Life Services organization, as a strategic leader for program implementation and execution. Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
