The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical program manager to lead prototype engagements, from discovery through the deployment of a commercially ready process used for new technology deployments within AWS data centers in APAC.

You will also lead programs with partner teams in defining prototype deployment trials, strategic planning and development, documenting the operational plans for production deployment and support partner teams in the integration of new hardware technologies into the AWS Network. You will interface with Networking leadership and Infra leadership, to define requirements and establish timelines for deployment. You will need to be proactive in communicating the project plans and milestone accomplishments and ensure alignment with our internal customers with regards to execution of the new deployment plans, management of defects, and rapid delivery of new technology deployment in an agile environment.

Key job responsibilities

- Own end-to-end delivery of builds, bricks and network deployment programs across all phases

- Partner with networking engineers, design engineers, capacity planners, supply chain, and vendor teams to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver against committed timelines.

- Develop and maintain program schedules; proactively identify risks, define path-to-green plans, and escalate appropriately to protect delivery commitments.

- Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership, communicating milestones, deviations, and trade-offs with clarity.

- Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects, making informed trade-offs between time, scope, and cost.

- Identify and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements to streamline deployment workflows and improve on-time delivery rates.

- Coordinate with internal partners on networking requirements, material delivery, cabling execution, and hardware installation activities.

- Define and track success metrics (SLA compliance, dwell times, on-time delivery). Use data to inform priorities and drive continuous improvement.

- Write effective project charters, deployment plans, and operational run books that support repeatable execution.

- Support the introduction of new hardware technologies and deployment processes, from prototype trials through to production-ready operational plans.

Basic qualifications

- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience

- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)

- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred qualifications

- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

- Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

- Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions

- Experience with AI/ML technologies
