AMD

AMD is an American semiconductor company founded in 1969 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, that designs processors, graphics chips and adaptive computing hardware without owning fabrication plants. Its Ryzen and Threadripper processors and Radeon graphics serve consumers and creators, EPYC server chips have taken a large share of the data centre market from Intel, and the Instinct accelerators compete for AI training and inference workloads. The 2022 acquisition of Xilinx added field-programmable gate arrays and adaptive systems on chip, and the company also supplies the custom silicon inside the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking an AI Experience Marketing professional to bring Ryzen AI and Radeon capabilities to life through compelling stories, demonstrations, and real-world applications. This role will shape how creators, gamers, enthusiasts, and everyday PC users understand and experience the value of local AI.

Working closely with product, engineering, software partners, and marketing teams, you will develop messaging, showcase differentiated AI experiences, and support integrated product launches and campaigns. Your work will help customers and partners connect AMD technology to meaningful benefits across productivity, creativity, gaming, and everyday computing.

THE PERSON:

You are a creative storyteller with technical curiosity and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging customer experiences. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and bring strong writing, presentation, and project management skills. You collaborate effectively across technical and nontechnical teams, manage competing priorities, and use audience insights and performance data to improve results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop positioning and messaging for Ryzen AI and Radeon that connect product capabilities to user needs and clearly communicate the value of local AI.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify and prioritize compelling AI applications and workflows for creators, gamers, enthusiasts, and everyday PC users.

  • Lead marketing requirements, storytelling, and execution for demonstrations used at product launches, industry events, media briefings, partner engagements, and in digital campaigns.

  • Collaborate with independent software vendors, developers, and ecosystem partners to showcase applications and experiences enabled or accelerated by AMD platforms.

  • Own AI experience messaging and deliverables within integrated launch plans, coordinating with Ryzen, Radeon, regional, channel, and corporate marketing teams.

  • Develop briefs, presentations, videos, web content, use-case stories, and sales enablement materials that make complex technology accessible and engaging.

  • Equip OEM, retail, channel, and sales teams with clear messaging and practical demonstrations that help customers evaluate AI PC experiences.

  • Work with technical and legal stakeholders to validate demonstrations, performance statements, compatibility details, and customer benefit claims.

  • Track audience engagement, demo effectiveness, partner participation, and campaign performance to refine messaging and guide future investments.

  • Monitor developments in AI applications, PC computing, graphics, and customer behavior to identify new storytelling and partnership opportunities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in product marketing, technical marketing, ecosystem marketing, or experience marketing within PC hardware, software, gaming, or related technology markets.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear positioning, compelling customer stories, and practical use cases.

  • Working knowledge of AI PC technologies, including the roles of CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs, and the tradeoffs between local and cloud AI.

  • Experience delivering product launches, demonstrations, integrated campaigns, or partner marketing programs.

  • Strong writing, presentation, and creative briefing skills, with experience communicating to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, agencies, and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

  • Experience collaborating across product management, engineering, business development, sales, and marketing.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
