AMD

AMD is an American semiconductor company founded in 1969 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, that designs processors, graphics chips and adaptive computing hardware without owning fabrication plants. Its Ryzen and Threadripper processors and Radeon graphics serve consumers and creators, EPYC server chips have taken a large share of the data centre market from Intel, and the Instinct accelerators compete for AI training and inference workloads. The 2022 acquisition of Xilinx added field-programmable gate arrays and adaptive systems on chip, and the company also supplies the custom silicon inside the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

They will be comfortable collaborating across global, cross-functional teams, navigating changing priorities, and communicating effectively with both engineering teams and senior leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead execution planning and delivery of strategic, long-lead IP initiatives from conception through development
  • Manage cross-program resource and scheduling models across multiple product streams
  • Align IP component schedules with peer IP Program Managers and SoC milestones

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Program management experience in silicon engineering, complex hardware products, or equivalent relevant expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional engineering programs

  • Experience developing long-term program plans with clear deliverables and milestones
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
  • Experience using common collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and program management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and Teams
