- Scenario Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain scenario models to assess the impact of design choices such as measures, weightings, thresholds, targets, payout curves, and other plan mechanics.
- Analytics & Insight Generation
- Analyze historical performance, payout distributions, and field data to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities to improve incentive plan effectiveness.
- Perform quantitative analyses and support financial modeling to evaluate potential plan changes, including sensitivity analyses and cost implications.
- Support benchmarking and research on incentive compensation practices, industry trends, and relevant market insights to inform design recommendations.
- Operational Excellence and Delivery:
- Support end-to-end execution of IC design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, quality, and adherence to established processes and governance standards.
- Maintain clear and complete documentation of assumptions, methodologies, calculations, decisions, and approvals to support traceability and audit readiness.
- Partner with IC operations, technology, data, and business stakeholders to translate approved plan designs into implementable requirements and support testing and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain data inputs, analysis files, and supporting materials used in IC design, and investigate discrepancies in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Automation & AI:
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive IC design and analytics activities, and support the development and implementation of efficient, scalable solutions.
- Support AI/ML initiatives within the IC space by helping identify relevant use cases, providing business context, and validating outputs for accuracy and usability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve analytical approaches, strengthen controls, and enhance the overall effectiveness and scalability of IC design activities.
- Business Impact & Collaborator Management: Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify design questions, communicate analytical findings, and support recommendations that align IC outcomes with business objectives.
