Senior Technical Operator (Multiple Roles)
At Amgen Breda, medicines are assembled, labeled, packed, stored, and shipped to countries around the world. Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.

What you will do
As a Senior Technical Operator for automated lines, you play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of highly automated assembly, Labeling & Packing production systems within a GMP-regulated environment. You act as the technical expert on the line, supporting both operational excellence and team capability.
In this role, you will:
- Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment
- Perform set-ups and change-overs
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis (e.g., RCA, 5WHY)
- Identify and escalate deviations where required in collaboration with quality and maintenance and support triage activities
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first point of contact for technical escalations
- Analyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systems
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
- Support, coach and train team members, strengthening overall line capability
- Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities

What we expect from you

- MBO+ or equivalent technical education
- Minimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments
- Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or trainer
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
- Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)
- High level of ownership, accountability, and structured way of working
- Willingness to work in shifts
