The Risk Analyst maintains OSHA injury and illness records, monitors Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and other key risk metrics, coordinates risk-related training activities, and analyzes claims and safety trends to identify trends and opportunities for management review related to injury reduction, claims cost control, and risk exposure. This role also provides risk management support and analysis related to insurance requirements, contractual liability provisions, indemnification language, and other risk-transfer mechanisms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for workers’ compensation claims from incident reporting through claim closure.

  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims administration (for ATA and Amkor Technology, Inc. (ATI) Headquarters in Tempe, AZ) and facilitate communication among employees, managers, Human Resources, EHS, medical providers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.

  • Ensure timely claims reporting, monitor claims status, maintain claim documentation, and support return-to-work and accommodation processes as applicable.

  • Maintain OSHA 300, OSHA 300A, and related injury and illness records in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Ensure OSHA recordkeeping accuracy and readiness for internal and external audits.

  • Collaborate with management and relevant stakeholders to monitor, track, and analyze Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and other safety and risk-related metrics.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and trend analyses related to workers’ compensation claims, injury frequency, loss experience, and organizational risk exposures.

  • Identify claim trends, recurring injury patterns, and risk exposures, and develop recommendations for management review regarding corrective and preventive actions to reduce incident frequency and claim costs.

  • Coordinate incident investigations with EHS, Human Resources, and operational leaders to ensure timely documentation and follow-up.

  • Partner with EHS personnel who conduct root cause analyses and support implementation and tracking of corrective actions.

  • Coordinate risk management, injury prevention, workers’ compensation, and compliance-related training initiatives, including tracking completion and maintaining records.

  • Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and related documents to identify insurance requirements, indemnification provisions, liability clauses, and other risk-transfer language, escalating matters for further review as appropriate.

  • Review certificates of insurance (COIs) for compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.

  • Coordinate requests for certificates of insurance and maintain related documentation and records.

  • Assist Legal and other stakeholders by gathering documentation and records associated with claims, disputes, audits, litigation, investigations, and compliance reviews.

  • Support the Risk Manager by gathering information, analyzing coverage-related data, and identifying potential insurance coverage gaps or risk mitigation opportunities for management review.

  • Actively participate in the Risk Control Assessment process by providing data, documentation, and risk-related insights to support evaluation and mitigation efforts.

  • Support internal and external audits related to risk management, workers’ compensation, insurance, and regulatory compliance programs.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, medical, insurance, and legal information.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • End-to-end workers’ compensation claims coordination experience.

  • Working knowledge of workers’ compensation statutes, regulatory requirements, oversight agencies, claims administration, and return-to-work processes.

  • Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements, including preparation and maintenance of OSHA 300 and 300A logs.

  • Experience analyzing injury, claims, and loss data to identify trends and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

  • Experience reviewing certificates of insurance (COIs) and verifying compliance with contractual insurance requirements.

  • Working knowledge of contractual risk transfer concepts, including insurance requirements, indemnification provisions, and liability allocation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all organizational levels and with external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy in detailed recordkeeping, and exercise sound judgment when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications
