AWS Data Architect

Role Overview:

This role should be proficient in data architecture, modeling standards, and governance framework for the Enterprise Data Platform. This role designs scalable data models, establishes data quality rules, and ensures proper lineage, metadata, and master data practices. The architect partners with business SMEs to interpret rules and translate them into technical data models and pipelines. The role also enforces security, access controls, and compliance requirements across the platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect end-to-end data pipelines and cloud-native data warehouses to support high-volume, real-time analytics for global clients.

- Lead the migration of legacy on-premise data systems to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal data integrity during the transition.

- Define and implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks to protect sensitive information across multi-tenant cloud environments.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data models and query performance, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization within the AWS ecosystem.

- Mentor senior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on emerging cloud technologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
