School Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) | Health Room - Part-Time | Everett, WA | 2026-2027 School Year | ASAP start date! | Up to $57/hour
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) to serve as a School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year in Everett, Washington. Job Highlights:
- Location: Everett, WA
- Position: Part Time - Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday at a Middle School
- ASAP start date for the 26-27 school year
- BSN RN required
- School experience (as a 1-1 nurse or health-room nurse required)
Responsibilities:
- Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPs
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Communicate with families regarding student health needs
- Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and administrators
- Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings when appropriate
- Support health education and wellness initiatives
- Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
- Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State RN license (DOH) or compact RN license
- BSN Degree (or higher) Required
- School Nursing ESA a plus but not required
- Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
