About the Role
Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in a center-based ASD classroom in Englewood, CO. You’ll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, support student communication and behavior needs, and create a structured, supportive classroom environment. You’ll work closely with paraprofessionals, specialists, families, and the school team.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
- Support students with autism and diverse learning needs
- Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, families, and school staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Experience supporting students with autism preferred
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred, not required
