Principal Account Manager

Are you an experienced sales professional who wants to help healthcare innovators improve people's lives? The Digital Healthcare team at Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is looking for a Principal Account Manager to drive balanced sales growth, deepen customer relationships, and develop new business across a portfolio of healthcare accounts in the Nordic region. In this advanced sales role, you will combine customer leadership, technical understanding, and disciplined execution to turn customer roadmaps into measurable opportunities, design wins, and revenue growth.

ADI is a global leader in the design and manufacture of semiconductor products. Our Digital Healthcare team uses ADI technology, domain expertise, and ecosystem partnerships to help customers build differentiated medical, diagnostic, monitoring, imaging, and connected-health solutions. We are an international team with a shared commitment to delivering business growth while contributing to better outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.

As the Principal Account Manager, you will plan, organize, lead, and control sales growth and customer satisfaction across assigned accounts. You will manage complex, primarily national accounts with minimal oversight, coordinate cross-functional resources, and apply strong knowledge of ADI's products and the customer's applications to recommend the best solution. You will also help shape regional performance by sharing market insight, improving sales processes, and supporting colleagues across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously refresh account plans for assigned customers, including growth priorities, opportunity mapping, decision-maker coverage, pipeline targets, competitive positioning, risk mitigation, and engagement strategy.
  • Drive balanced sales growth, account penetration, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of complex healthcare accounts in the Nordic region.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders in engineering, R&D, product management, procurement, operations, quality, supply chain, and management.
  • Align ADI technical and business strategy with customer roadmaps and revenue potential, identifying new platforms, applications, and program opportunities early in the design cycle.
  • Lead opportunity development with measurable bookings and design-win impact, connecting customer needs with ADI capabilities in signal chain, power, sensing, connectivity, embedded processing, software, and system-level solutions.
  • Partner closely with field application engineers, product lines, marketing, supply chain, pricing, and other internal teams to refine requirements and deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Lead technical and commercial problem-solving for unique customer challenges, including pricing, supply, quality, roadmap, and execution topics, escalating appropriately when required.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, CRM quality, opportunity governance, and regular account cadence with a high level of accuracy and discipline.
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts across sales, engineering, and product organizations to create a consistent customer experience and expand ADI engagement.
  • Identify improvements in technical and commercial engagement workflows and help implement more effective, repeatable sales practices.
  • Anticipate obstacles, develop contingency plans, and manage trade-offs between competing customer and internal priorities to maintain momentum.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant professional experience in direct sales, account management, business development, field applications, or another customer-facing role in semiconductors, electronics, medtech, healthcare technology, or complex B2B technology markets.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and territories, deliver sales growth, develop new business, and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor products or adjacent technologies, together with the ability to understand customer applications, system requirements, software and hardware considerations, competitive products, and relevant industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and roadmaps into qualified opportunities, account strategies, value propositions, and executable action plans.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics, articulate strategy, and communicate difficult outcomes clearly to customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, problem-solving, and project-management skills, with sound judgment and the ability to work with minimal oversight.

Other Information for Applicants

  • The role may be based in Stockholm, Sweden; Finland; or Copenhagen, Denmark, with flexible work arrangements subject to business needs and local policy.
  • Travel is expected to support customer engagement, opportunity development, account reviews, internal alignment, and industry events.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working across countries, functions, and time zones and coordinating resources without direct authority.
  • This is an individual-contributorsales role with significant customer ownership and cross-functional influence.
