Android Developer

Andersen is hiring an Android Developer for a project developing a large-scale eCommerce marketplace and enhancing mobile shopping experiences and digital services.

Our customer is a technology-driven digital platform that brings together multiple consumer and business services within a unified ecosystem. It focuses on enhancing user experience, improving operational efficiency, and enabling seamless digital interactions through modern technologies, scalable infrastructure, and continuous innovation. The platform supports both individual users and commercial partners while expanding its capabilities to meet evolving market needs.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing a large-scale eCommerce marketplace that offers a wide range of products and fast delivery services. It includes expanding logistics infrastructure, improving the customer shopping experience, and creating new opportunities for merchants and their customers.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and enhancing the One Click customer journey for courier delivery of orders from pickup points.
• Implementing functionality in the customer application, including the product page, shopping cart, checkout, delivery statuses, and user profile.
• Developing functionality for the courier application, including receiving a code to collect an order from a pickup point, confirming delivery using the customer’s code, and accepting or rejecting an order with a specified reason.
• Integrating mobile applications with backend APIs.
• Writing and maintaining tests, participating in code reviews, and ensuring development quality.
• Supporting the pilot launch, release, and subsequent stabilization of the functionality.

Requirements:

• Commercial Android development experience with Kotlin in large-scale product projects for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Flow.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM/MVI architectural patterns and multi-module architecture.
• Experience implementing navigation with Cicerone using a Single Activity approach.
• Experience with dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger/Koin.
• Experience developing and safely rolling out functionality using Feature Flags.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and working with agreed backend contracts.
• Experience writing unit tests with JUnit 5 and UI tests using Kaspresso/Espresso/Compose UI testing/Kakao.
• Experience independently delivering features from design mockups through release and post-release support.
• Experience participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality.
• Level of English - from Intermediate and above.

• Experience developing products in e-commerce, delivery, or fintech.
