DevOps Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure.

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.

- Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

- Build, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes.

- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.

- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident-management solutions.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.

- Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

- Work closely with developers to improve application deployment and operational reliability.

- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

- Participate in production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Strong knowledge of Docker and experience with Kubernetes.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.

- Good understanding of Git and version-control workflows.

- Experience with scripting/programming using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.

- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and access control.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
