Job Title : Software Development Engineer 2 - Frontend
Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka
What you will do :
- Hands-on coding - exposure to cutting-edge frontend and backend tech.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of components for the products.
- Craft APIs, RPCs, and streamlining topologies that are simple, and efficient.
- Ensure excellence in engineering.
- Mentor engineers in the team.
Who you are :
- Degree in the computer science field with 3 - 6 years of experience building large scalable systems.
- Excellent computer science skills including data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on programming experience in languages like Typescript, JavaScript (frameworks like React and Vue are a huge plus), and Node.js.
- Knowledge/experience on Svelte is a huge plus.
- Exposure to HTML5/CSS3 and build responsive UI for web/mobile form factors.
- Tailwind is a must to know. Advanced CSS, like SCSS and SASS, are preferred.
- Knowledge of Web pack bundling libraries is required.
- Exposure to Object Oriented Design/Programming and a clear understanding of modern programming constructs like closures, async programming, etc.
- Problem-solving / analytical skills.
- Exposure to high-level hygiene guidelines like the one described in the 12-factor app.
- Metrics obsession.
