Software Engineer (7+ years of experience)

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with coworkers to deeply understand customer needs, design thoughtful systems that solve real-world problems, and build best-in-class product experiences. Our stack is TypeScript (frontend and backend), Postgres, and React, but prior experience is not required.

In this role, you will

• Own the scoping, design, and development of product features.

• Identify and fix bugs and technical debt.

• Collaborate with Support to address technical issues for customers

What excites us

• You have a strong technical background, with 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer and 4+ years of experience building web application backends.

• Experience with frontend development is a plus, but not required.

• You think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time, and you will push back when necessary.

• Your designs take into account current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance, and you can clearly articulate the tradeoffs.

• You level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience.

• You’re curious and motivated to learn new tools - you've experimented with AI in your work or on your own, you're excited about what's possible, and you've built something with it (an application, a workflow, a creative solution to a real problem) that you can walk us through.
