About the role
As the GTM Enablement Trainer, Claude Products, you'll teach Anthropic's global field organization how to use our products, both to do their own work better and to position Claude credibly with customers. Anthropic ships quickly, and the surface area of what we build is growing faster than any individual seller can track. The job has two halves. The first is enabling our own people to be power users of Claude, so the field is the most sophisticated user of the product we sell. The second is enabling them to position it: to run a credible technical conversation with a customer, anticipate the hard questions, and hold their own with a technical buyer.
The best person in this role sees around corners. You won't wait for a launch to be announced before you start building enablement for it. You'll be embedded enough with Product and Applied AI to know what's coming, and opinionated enough to say which surfaces need real enablement investment and which don't. You'll need enough technical credibility to earn the respect of engineers and enough commercial fluency to earn the respect of sellers. You should also find more energy in enabling people to use what we build than in building it yourself.
Key responsibilities:
- Own product enablement for the global field organization, spanning new launches, existing capabilities, and the product roadmap ahead
- Build the programs that make Anthropic sellers genuinely expert users of Claude in their own daily work
- Create enablement that equips the field to position our products with technical and business buyers, including demo readiness, objection handling, and competitive framing
- Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Applied AI to get early visibility into what is shipping and to shape how it reaches the field
- Anticipate which new product surfaces will require significant enablement investment, and make the case for that investment before launch
- Build and maintain the product certification path that credentials sellers on our core products
- Create high-quality enablement content including demo scripts, technical talk tracks, solution guides, and competitive positioning material
- Establish feedback loops that carry field and customer signal about product gaps back to Product and Product Marketing
Minimum qualifications:
Experience bridging sales and technical audiences in a role such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical enablement, product marketing, or technical account management
Hands-on, regular use of AI assistants and agentic tools (e.g., Claude, Claude Code) in your own real-world workflows
Working technical knowledge of how LLM products work (e.g., prompting, context, tool use, APIs), enough to demo them live and field technical questions from engineering buyers
Experience turning complex, fast-moving technical products into enablement content such as demo scripts, technical talk tracks, solution guides, or training curricula
Experience writing and presenting technical material for audiences with very different levels of technical depth
Preferred qualifications
Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, or developer tooling
Experience owning launch readiness for a technical product across a global field organization
Prior experience as a solutions engineer or sales engineer carrying a technical win
Experience building technical certification programs
A track record of shipping enablement content that the field actually uses
Experience partnering with Product or Product Marketing to prepare a field team ahead of launch, not after it
Experience building programs from 0 to 1 in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$190,000—$270,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
