About the role

Anthropic's APAC go-to-market organisation is the fastest-growing part of our international business, spanning markets with distinct languages, cultures and buying styles. Today, enablement for the region is delivered by our global and EMEA teams. You will be the first enablement leader on the ground in APAC.

You will change that. As the first enablement leader based in APAC, you will own how the field across the region gets ready: onboarding, ongoing skill development, manager coaching support and launch readiness, for every GTM function, not just sales. You are the multiplier. You turn a rapidly scaling region into a field that is ready for the customer conversations in front of it, in the languages those conversations happen in.

This is a build role with a global spine. You inherit a working global and international enablement engine. Your job is to design for APAC as part of that engine, adapted and translated where it matters, delivered across APAC, feeding what you learn back into the international and global programme. Design, influence and translate, in both directions.

How we work: adults learn by doing, we build sessions around live activity: practice, reflection, real customer scenarios. The measure is not what was covered in the room. It is what changes a week later in how people think, decide and sell.

This takes creativity and a deep understanding of how adults learn, applied at unprecedented speed. The frontier moves quickly and the field is scaling fast. Much of the work is unlearning: helping experienced sellers let go of pre-AI habits, not just teaching new ones. AI is what makes this scalable. Infinite practice partners, personalised scenarios from real deals, feedback minutes after a call. You will use it that way, not to generate more content.

Key responsibilities

• Stand up the APAC enablement rhythm: in-region onboarding cohorts, live practice-based sessions in APAC time zones, and a regional feedback loop into the global programme
• Adapt the international portfolio for APAC, where enablement for several markets must be written and translated ahead of delivery rather than spoken and hoped for
• Partner with regional GTM leaders to build a coaching standard that scales as the manager layer grows
• Own launch readiness for the region. When a new model or product ships, the APAC field is certified and conversation-ready in the same week cycle as everyone else
• Run practice-first sessions in the room: deal walkthroughs, role-plays, customer-conversation rehearsal. Practice and application over presentation

Minimum qualifications

• Have 15+ years in GTM enablement, sales productivity or field roles, with several years leading enablement
• Have built and led GTM enablement in APAC, with direct experience in more than one of the region's markets
• Have influenced and shipped beyond your own region, from a global seat or a regional one: a programme adopted elsewhere, or a senior stakeholder outside your reporting line whose decision you changed
• Personally design practice-first enablement and measure it by what the field does differently afterwards, not content shipped or attendance
• Understand how adults learn and apply it at unprecedented speed. Much of the job is helping experienced sellers unlearn pre-AI habits, not just teaching new ones
• Are creative with the craft. You use AI to give every seller personalised practice, real-deal scenarios and fast feedback, not to produce more content
• Have owned a function with end-to-end accountability rather than orchestrated one
• Have enabled a field across languages and cultures. You know what breaks when content built for English-first markets ships as-is
• Operate as the region's first enablement leader: prioritising ruthlessly, borrowing leverage from global programmes, knowing when to adapt versus adopt
• Work fluently with sales leaders as a peer: pipeline reviews, deal inspection and forecast conversations, not just training rooms

Strong candidates may also

• Have held both a global and an APAC enablement role
• Have run enablement delivered across APAC markets
• Have built a regional enablement function from zero
• Have carried a quota or led sellers earlier in their career
• Have enablement experience in AI, developer platforms or technical products sold to both executives and builders
• Have built manager or coaching programmes, not just individual-contributor enablement

Logistics

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
