As a Tax Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in our success by getting introduced to analytical assignments and stakeholder engagement, you will be leading a team of tax specialists and supervising their assignments to contribute with process improvements. You will also have the opportunity to co-relate process to business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and analyze indirect tax returns and various tax support workpapers ensuring tax obligations are up to date in various regions.
- Performs data collection and high-level processing.
- Analyses financial data and risks and effectively communicate it with key stakeholders.
- Analyses tax laws and regulations and prepare technical reports on
- their impact on the organization’s operations.
- Supervise responses to complex information requests.
- Prepares correspondence and provides high-quality client facing reports to management, tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.
- Delivers on concrete defined tasks and provides support to others Supports and coordinate team on ad hoc projects.
We are looking for:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor. Bachelor’s Degree or similar with experience as below: 6 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in one or more of the following fields, in their order of relevance:
- Preparation/ review of Indirect Tax compliance process.
- Providing data/ information for international tax compliance and tax audit support.
- Process management and improvement.
Experience gained in:
- Shared services or Centre of excellence of large MNCs. A combination of big 4 advisory firms with one or more of the above.
- Knowledge about Financial & Accounting systems and processes Experience with ERP systems (preferred SAP) is required and awareness of or experience with tax compliance & reporting technologies and effective process & control operation.
- Willingness to learn new applications and explore smart ways of working.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with different levels of stakeholder, both internal and external.
- B2 English level (Required) Detail orientated, proven commitment to high quality delivery and continuous improvement.
- Flexible, able to work to deadlines and to prioritize effectively. Team player and should be a team-oriented person.
