Senior Maintenance Technician | Night Shift
Starting Pay: $30.00/hour + Night Shift Premium | Pay Based on Experience
Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Location: Owatonna, MN
Viracon is continuously hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team in Owatonna, MN.

What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
- Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other maintenance repairs
- Diagnose equipment issues and identify the root cause of problems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
- Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment
- Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the team
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team and production operations
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for experienced maintenance professionals who are:
- Experienced in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong troubleshooters who can diagnose and repair equipment issues
- Experienced with electrical and mechanical systems
- Comfortable working independently and making maintenance decisions
- Able to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Dependable and safety focused
- Willing to work a 12 hour overnight shift
Qualifications
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred
- Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and other industrial equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana
- Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift
Night Shift Schedule
The night shift works a 12 hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday-
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday
This schedule provides consistent hours while giving you every other weekend off.
