Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• • Infrastructure & Facility Management: Oversee critical utility systems including HVAC, electrical power grids, plumbing, civil works, and medical gas pipelines to guarantee uninterrupted patient care.
  • Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to fire safety protocols, conduct routine mock drills, manage environmental controls, and ensure audit-ready compliance for accreditations.
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Supervise and train multidisciplinary teams of technicians, electricians, and utility engineers; manage contracts and service level agreements (AMCs/CMCs) with external vendors.
  • Budget & Resource Planning: Develop and control annual capital and operational expenditure budgets, optimize inventory for spare parts, and implement cost-effective maintenance workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

• • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil; a Master's degree or postgraduate credential in Hospital Administration/Facility Management is a strong plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 4 -5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within a multi-specialty hospital environment.
  • Core Skills: Deep technical knowledge of hospital utilities and medical machinery, crisis management, vendor negotiations, budget control, and familiarity with health accreditation standards
