Employee Experience and Productivity (EEP) is part of IS&T and delivers some of the most widely used communication and productivity technology and services across Apple - from tools that enable collaboration to the support teams that keep Apple's workforce running. EEP also leads user experience design and research, and manages the systems behind Apple's original content studios. The Events, Streaming and Broadcast team within EEP delivers a suite of services that empower our community to provide industry standard, secure, intuitive solutions for managing events. and streaming within Apple. We are looking for a self-driven Engineering Project Manager with experience in fast-paced software development. The ideal candidate has a strong background in managing multiple projects with a proven ability to deliver impactful results.

Description

This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in building strong relationships with stakeholders, requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, and tracking project deadlines. This requires creativity, and a high propensity to detail to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Apple enterprise wide applications.

The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, and be a proactive solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. Finally, curiosity, outstanding project management best practices, seeing the bigger picture along with attention to detail, and a proven track record of influencing and collaborating across the organization are key qualities required to excel in this role.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project management.

5+ years experience with software development lifecycles, 2 years delivering Agile projects.

Experience in an enterprise technology environment with multiple dependent platforms and shared services.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate the business and technical implications of decisions made by the project team.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Hands-on leader with high ownership and a proven track record of building trust and driving results across distributed engineering, design, and product teams.

Exceptional Communication: Highly effective at translating complex technical and business implications for diverse audiences, peers, and IT management.

Agile & Enterprise Execution: Thrives in fast-paced, constantly changing environments with rapid development cycles, complex dependent platforms, and shared services.

Driven Project Execution: Strong organizational and facilitation skills, with the ability to take ownership of initiatives, prioritize multiple tasks, and drive projects to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Teamwork: Experience working with geographically distributed teams and navigating the coordination overhead of cross-timezone delivery. Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management.

Technical Differentiators: . Familiarity with quality engineering (QA pipelines, CI/CD) and exposure to AI/ML project delivery or automation strategies are strong pluses.

Proven ability to work with diverse audiences through clear and compelling written and verbal communication.
