As a member of Google’s global Transportation Team, you will play a key role in Google’s growth. You will be part of the team overseeing one of the largest global corporate transportation programs, ensuring excellence in service delivery. Our direction is to contribute to the productivity of Google’s evolving workplace with sustainable and innovative mobility options. Our mission is to plan, implement, and operate cost effective mobility solutions to support Google’s global portfolio.
You will be responsible for service delivery of transportation services in Google’s India, as well as other locations in APAC and EMEA. You will be an integral part of the global Transportation Team, managing and collaborating in a partnership mode with key vendor partners. Through these partnerships you will be responsible for improving the commute transport experience that enables Google to grow. Your responsibilities in this position include tracking progress toward program goals and strategies, overseeing financial management, supervising daily transport operations, managing program and operational governance, and directing project schedules. You will report progress providing regular program updates to management on impact and issues. You will design, implement and manage Google's Transport service offerings. You are an exceptional communicator, adept at navigating projects alongside a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Bangalore’s transportation programs and initiatives, including additional operational support across India-based locations. Ensure uniform and efficient service delivery by upholding strategic direction, managing financial operations, and maintaining vendor partnerships.
- Transform the commuter journey into a seamless, high-reliability experience that enhances employee productivity and reinforces Google’s high employee experience standards.
- Manage a complex portfolio of transport providers, moving beyond basic oversight to Partnership Management that drives innovation and service resilience.
- Oversee transport operations with a high degree of focus, ensuring exceptional employee satisfaction, and leveraging data-driven insights with real-time feedback to sustain industry-leading sentiment scores.
- Act as the primary liaison between the various real estate and workplace services teams including workplace services, Security, transactions, and project executive teams. Support other program operations as necessary throughout other locations in APAC and EMEA.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in corporate employee transportation operations and services.
- Experience with developing and managing budgets and capital budget justification.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in vendor and program management.
- Experience in safety and risk management.
