As a member of our Worldwide Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development to launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product development process. Together with our team, you’ll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world, and help lead the way on how we bring them to our users and developers.
Description
At Apple, we combine product management and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization.
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to help shape the future of spatial computing with Apple Vision Pro. As an Apple Vision Pro Product Manager you will have a seat at the table to help define and drive the most ambitious product Apple’s ever built while being responsible for how new and existing AR products and features are launched and marketed.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in product management, product strategy and/or product marketing roles, including experience managing a complex product portfolio
Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities
Recent experience within the last 3 years in spatial computing/AR/VR, wearables, emerging hardware technologies (AI hardware, drones, self-driving cars, 3D printing, robotics, etc), computer/display technologies, or adjacent
Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of deep subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure
Obsession with spatial computing/AR/VR technology and the Vision Pro customer experience, evidenced by being a super user of these products, holding a deep understanding of competitive trends, and/or having an informed and well-developed perspective on AR/VR users
BS/BA degree
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations
The ability to think clearly to see the big picture and innovate down to the details
A track record in formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing
Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease with the ability to cut through ambiguity
The ability to balance multiple projects and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Experience in spatial computing, AR / VR / MR a plus
