About the Role :
We are seeking a Principal .NET Backend Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-scale backend applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure, while leading architecture discussions and technical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Architect cloud-native Microservices and Distributed Systems on Microsoft Azure.
- Design secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven applications.
- Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, AKS deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Review AI-generated code and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET backend development.
- Expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, and system design.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and container orchestration (AKS).
Nice to have :
- Advanced understanding of event-driven architecture and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and Azure infrastructure-as-code.
- Knowledge of DDD, CQRS, and clean architecture principles.
- Soft skills : problem solving, stakeholder management, and agile delivery.
