Site Supervisor

About the Role:

APS is looking for a proactive, results-driven Supervisor to join our Operations team in Ondangwa, Namibia. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading teams, ensuring compliance with company standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage daily operations, motivate employees, solve problems, and ensure that operational targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities.
• Motivate, support, and guide employees to achieve operational targets.
• Allocate work effectively based on team members' skills and capabilities.
• Monitor workflow and ensure productivity and efficiency targets are met.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Act as the link between employees and management, ensuring effective communication.
• Maintain employee attendance, timekeeping, and personnel records.
• Assist management with workforce planning and resource allocation.

Quality Assurance & Customer Service

• Ensure work is completed according to quality and service standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
• Address operational challenges and escalate issues where necessary.
• Handle employee and customer complaints professionally and effectively.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and understand company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or Diploma in Supervisory Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Supervisor or Foreman position.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and site operations.
• Valid Code 8 Driver's Licence.
